The Bouncy My Happy To See You Pup is so cute, most customers love her at first sight! The sounds and reactions are very lifelike, even though she’s really a simple toy.
The puppy is soft and cuddly, and if you stroke her back she will make sweet, loving, happy puppy sounds. There’s also a sensor on her head so if you pat her there, she will playfully bark, jump and spin.
But the best thing about the Bouncy Happy To See Me Pup is the interactive motion sensor which means she reacts to movement in front of her without you having to touch her. If a child comes near and waves a hand or moves in an obvious way, she will bark and jump for joy just like a real puppy recognizing somebody. That’s so cute and kids love it!
What You Need To Know
The barking is like the yapping of a little dog, and some parents found that it could get annoying, but you can switch the puppy off. The problem is then it doesn’t do the movements either – so kids want it switched on pretty much all of the time! But even so, it’s a lot less annoying than having a real dog – and you don’t have to clean up after it either!
The Happy To See Me Puppy comes with batteries which is great except that it will probably be switched to ‘try me’ demo mode when you get it, so it barks when it’s moved around in the box. In that case, if you want the gift to be a surprise you may have to open it up and switch it off. You’ll also need to switch it from ‘try me’ to ‘on’ to get all of the features.
More FurReal Friends
The Bouncy My Happy To See Me Pup is made by the well known manufacturers Hasbro as part of their FurReal Friends range. Click on the link there if you want to see other toy pets from the range – they have kittens, ponies, bunnies and lots of other animals as well as other puppies.
If you have a real puppy in the house, the Bouncy Happy To See You Pup will not compete (although your dog will probably love to play with it!) If you don’t have real live pets, a small child will probably adore to have their own ‘puppy’ that barks and jumps for joy when they play with it.
